FAQ - Frequently Asked Questions
Wallone is not only a platform for selling illustrations but also a place to share your artwork with the world. We have prepared answers to the most frequently asked questions to help you understand how to use the platform effectively.
1. Is Wallone only a platform for selling artwork, or can I publish my work just for viewing?
Wallone provides the opportunity to upload artwork not only for sale but also for free viewing. You can upload your work for both sale and free use. This is perfect for those who want to share their illustrations for purposes such as previews, YouTube thumbnails, blog images, or social media content.
If you want your work to be available for download without restrictions, simply set the price to 0, and it will be available for free to all users.
2. How do I set my artwork for free publication?
To publish an image for free, set the price to 0 when uploading your work. This allows other users to download and use your image without any charge. This option is useful if you want your work to be available for mass use, such as for social media or non-commercial projects.
3. I am not the author of the image, can I upload it?
We recommend uploading only your own work or images that you have permission to use. This is important for maintaining honesty and protecting intellectual property rights.
4. The logo of your site is placed on my artwork. Is that normal?
Yes, this is normal. The Wallone logo is added to images for copyright protection and to prevent unauthorized use of your artwork. However, if you sell or share the image, users can download the original without the watermark after purchasing or by clicking the "Download" button. This helps protect your illustrations but does not prevent full use of them after purchase.
5. Why can I only use 5 tags?
To maintain clean and efficient searches and avoid spam, we have limited the number of tags to 5. This makes it easier for users to find relevant work and helps maintain order on the platform. Remember, less is more. Too many tags can make searches harder, and a few relevant tags will help attract the right audience. We recommend choosing only the most relevant tags for your work.
